Kelly's Deviled Eggs

I've been making Deviled Eggs since I was 5 years old. It's one of the first things I learned to make and I've been using the same recipe for over 35 years (scary). They're one of my and my dad's favorite foods, and on a summer day with barbecued chicken, it pretty much doesn't get any better. Simple & delicious.


4 hard boiled eggs

3 TBS mayo (do not try with reduced fat mayo - the egg yolks don't take to it as well and ends up gross)

1-2 tsp yellow mustard

3/4 tsp sweet pickle juice


  1. Peel eggs & slice into halves

  2. Remove yolks and grate finely into bowl

  3. Add next 3 ingredients and mix thoroughly (Mixture will have small lumps)

  4. Spoon into cooked egg halves & top with sprinkle of paprika (optional)
