Sautéed Garlic Spinach


Nothing groundbreaking here. This recipe is incredibly simple, but very delicious. A go-to side for just about any chicken, steak, or pork dish. Ingredients: 1 package fresh baby spinach 1 TBS extra virgin olive oil 1 clove garlic, pressed or minced half a lemon salt

Directions:

  1. Heat pan over medium-high heat. Add oil and sautee garlic until it starts to turn golden

  2. Add spinach in batches, allowing it to wilt and then folding the wilted spinach over the dry leaves

  3. Salt to taste and keep adding spinach until all is wilted

  4. Squeeze the juice from half a lemon over the spinach and serve
